Dr. Hanine Estephan, Managing Director

Dr. Estephan is a global healthcare executive with over 20 years of experience in Health & Wellness.

Hanine is passionate about healthcare, its technological advancement and its digitization. Her work covers a range of functional areas including strategy and commercial development, product launch, operations and marketing, as well as offline and online partnerships. She focuses on Wellness & Prevention, Women’s Health, Diagnostic testing & Mental health.

Hanine held executive roles at a number of global healthcare & digital health companies across Europe such as Holland & Barrett International, Zava online doctors and Mindberry (digital mental health platform). Prior to that, Hanine was a healthcare strategy consultant at top tier consulting firms, such as Oliver Wyman, IQVIA and Booz &CO, and a specialist in global healthcare policy at the World Bank.

Hanine holds a Doctor of Science degree in Epidemiology from Harvard University as well as a Master’s degree in Public Health Management & Policy and a Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Medicine from the American University of Beirut. Dr. Estephan also is a certified American Board in Lifestyle Medicine and holds a diploma in digital marketing.

Dr. Aline Zakhem, Director

Dr Aline Zakhem earned her medical Doctor degree in 2005 from the American University of Beirut ( AUB) , following which she completed her training in Internal Medicine and infectious diseases at AUB-Medical Center . She then pursued a fellowship at UT-MD Anderson Cancer Center in the US for 3 years where she subspecialized in Infectious diseases for the immunosuppressed patients. She has extensive experience as a skilled internist as well as an Infectious diseases specialist and is currently an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at AUBMC. Dr Zakhem also serves as the Medical Director of Balsam, the Lebanese Center for Palliative care .
